Polystyrene box-type frames, also known as shadow box frames, are typically made from a combination of materials to achieve the desired depth and structure.

Polystyrene Frame: The outer frame itself is usually made from polystyrene. Polystyrene is a type of plastic that is lightweight, durable, and easy to mold into various shapes and sizes.

Backing Board: This is made of MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard), providing a sturdy support for the artwork or objects being displayed.

Glazing: The front of the frame is covered with a glazing material to protect the contents. Common options include, Glass: Traditional shadow boxes often use glass for a clear and scratch-resistant finish.

Matting Material: Paper Matboard.

The product will be wrapped in plastic and will be covered by cardboard in the corners to help protect them from bumps and falls. It will then be filled with paper fillings, and wrapped in bubble wrap, before being placed in a box.
